Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki praised his striking department for their efforts during training to sharpen up their skill in attack after scoring five goals in their last two matches.
Amakhosi have now secured back to back victories in the DStv Premiership following their 2-0 win over Stellenbosch FC thanks to goals from Pule Mmodi and Christian Basomboli at Athlone Stadium on Wednesday.
The Soweto giants have now managed to score five goals in two matches without conceding a goal.
Ntseki is pleased with what he has seen from his strikers and believes their hard work in training is finally paying off in the final third.
“We have put a lot of work into drilling the offensive players,” Ntseki told his club’s official website.
“They understand the demands, they understand the movements and what technical adjustments they need to make to score goals.
“The first goal was a good combination, coming inside, and it was very good execution for him (Pule Mmodi) to score that goal. Christian is a very vibrant player. He is always looking to score. Our goals came from combinations of offensive play.”
