Orlando Pirates duo Augustine Mulenga and Innocent Maela have made strides in recovering from their ankle and adductor injuries respectively.
The club took to their officil website to confirm that Maela and Mulenga have succesfully recovered from injuries which ruled them out of contention for Bafana Bafana and Zambia’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Namibia and Libya respectively.

‘Bucs duo of Augustine Mulenga and Innocent Maela have been cleared for national duty following the successful recovery of their ankle and adductor strains respectively,’ read the statement on the club’s website.

Mulenga has made two appearances for Milutin Sredojevic’s side this season, netting his only goal of the season thus far in the MTN8 quarter-final loss against SuperSport United.

Maela has been an ever-present figure in the Soweto giants’ side thus far, featuring in every single minute of Pirates’ six games played across all competitions this season.
