Orlando Pirates striker Kermit Erasmus wants his side to build on their previous performance and continue their winning momentum heading into the Soweto derby.
The Buccaneers will be hoping to secure back-to-back wins in the DStv Premiership when they welcome Kaizer Chiefs to the Orlando Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Pirates currently sit above Amakhosi in the league standings but the outcome of this encounter will determine whether or not they remain above their rivals.
Erasmus has urged his side to find some consistency in their performance as he is hungry to secure maximum points against their Soweto rivals in order to move further away from them on the table.
“We gotta build on previous performances and just try to be consistent because with being consistent, there’s a lot of things you can achieve,” the player added.
“I don’t think anyone has done what I’ve done in a long time,” Erasmus said.
“Especially coming back to a Club like Pirates. It definitely is a great feeling and I’m happy to be back bringing back happy days to the ‘Happy People’. That’s what’s important to me right now.”
