Arsenal could raise their bid for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha as high as £70 million, say reports.
The Gunners failed with an opening £40-million offer for the Ivory Coast international on Monday but have persisted with their interest.
Sky Sports News believes that Palace value the 26-year-old at £80m and are resistant to sell after allowing Aaron Wan-Bissaka to join Manchester United in a £50m deal this summer.
Reporter Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that an improved bid is yet to be made but the Gunners intend to submit a new offer.
Wilfried Zaha wants to leave Crystal Palace. Wants to stay in London & play European football. Arsenal expected to make offer after representatives held initial talks sounding out possibility of a deal.

Arsenal are said to have the means to push their bid as far as £70m, but would walk away from a deal costing them more in total.
Zaha scored 10 Premier League goals in 34 Premier League appearances for the Eagles last season.
“Arsenal can go up to £70m to buy Wilfried Zaha, £70m is the point in which they would walk away. Obviously that is not going to be £70m in cash straight down, but a deal that would be worth £70m in total.”
