Marcus Rashford’s opener was quickly cancelled out by Allan Saint-Maximum but second-half goals from Daniel James and a Bruno Fernandes penalty ensured United went back up to second with a comfortable 3-1 win.

Speaking after the match, Solskjaer admitted his side took until half time to get going but was ultimately pleased with the three points.
