Ramahlwe Mphahlele is backing former Mamelodi Sundowns attacking duo Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro to deliver the goods at Kaizer Chiefs following glimpses of their brilliance in the MTN8.
The two-thirds of the infamous ‘CBD’ combination lit up the semi-final clash against SuperSport United as they combined to great effect to give their side two away goals at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on the weekend.

Rama says that Chiefs are still a work-in-progress but believes with Billiat and Castro spearheading the attack, their goal-scoring problems are now an issue of the past.

‘Scoring gives us big confidence. These guys [Castro and Billiat] are top players. You’re guaranteed that you will get goals when they are on the pitch,’ he told MTN8 TV.
‘We have to work together with them and try to help them, especially us as the defence. We have to try and keep the zero [a clean sheet], and we know they will score.
‘We know Khama is going to get something; Castro is going to get something, but it’s a work-in-progress. We have a new man in charge [Giovanni Solinas]. We have to keep working and fix it, on the journey [to the MTN8 final],’ he concluded.
