Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala was greeted with a standing ovation after making his debut as a second-half substitute for Turkish side Erzurumspor.
After shocking everyone in the South African football fraternity by securing a move abroad at age 33, Shabba came on as a 76th-minute sub to make his first appearance for the club in a 1-0 home defeat against Emmanuel Adebayor’s Istanbul Basaksehir.
