Romelu Lukaku grabbed himself a brace as Belgium cruised to a 3-0 victory in their opening Group G World Cup match against Panama on Monday evening.
After a frustrating first half for Belgium, the game sparked into life when Dries Mertens opened the scoring with an outstanding volley just after the restart.

Any hope Panama had of causing an upset quickly dissipated when the Red Devils doubled their lead. This time it was striker Lukaku who got on the end of an exquisite ball from Kevin De Bruyne to head home.

Lukaku then got his brace and Belgium’s third after being sent through by Eden Hazard and delicately dinking the ball over the out-rushing goalkeeper.
