Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says his side are firmly in the Premier League title race following their 2-1 North London Derby win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
The Gunners came from behind to claim victory as goals from Gabriel and Leandro Trossard secured a vital win that leaves Arsenal three points behind leaders Liverpool, albeit that they have played a game more.
We are (in the title race), because there is so much to play for, and we can see how difficult it is for every team to win,” Arteta said.
“I think we were sensational. It is a test of attitude, what we are made of, the courage that we have and how much we really care only about a result.
“We should have put the game to bed much earlier, but it is what it is, then we have to suffer.”
Arsenal are next in action on Saturday when they have another tough home test against Aston Villa.
