Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau has been named Egyptian Premier League Player of the Week for the second time following his impressive run of form for Al Ahly.

The South African attacker has hit the ground running at Ahly, having already bagged five goals in his opening six games of the Egyptian Premier League so far this season.

Tau recently moved to the summit of the Egyptian Premier League top-scorer’s chart after his brace to help Al Ahly secure a comfortable 4-1 victory over Smouha last Thursday evening.

His man-of-the-match performance against Smouha clinched the Egyptian Premier League Player of the Week award for the second time this campaign, Tau becoming the first player to do so this season.
