AmaZulu have announced the appointment of Arthur Zwane and Vusimuzi Vilakazi as joint head coaches with immediate effect.
Zwane joins the Durban-based side from Betway Premiership outfit Kaizer Chiefs, where he served as the club’s youth coach.
The 51-year-old brings experience having previously been Amakhosi’s assistant coach, caretaking coach and head coach.
Vilakazi, meanwhile, joins Zwane after he coaching the club’s DStv Diski Challenge side this season before the appointment.
The 42-year-old was previously Golden Arrows’ assistant coach, caretaker coach, and head coach, Chippa United’s technical director, head coach at Richards Bay, and Usuthu head coach.
The duo will get their first taste of action when Usuthu take on Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on October 25.
“Their combined experience as both coaches and former professional players will be crucial in developing our younger talents and guiding our seasoned players in the task ahead,” Zungu told his club’s official website.

AmaZulu President Sandile Zungu confirmed the appointments, expressing confidence in the pair’s ability to lead the team through the challenges of the Betway Premiership.
