Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that due to injury, duo Khama Billiat and George Maluleka will be unavailable for the club’s second leg Caf Confederation Cup tie against ASSM Elgeco Plus.

The Soweto giants took to their official website to publicise a number of updates on their injured players, which include the likes of Eric Mathoho, Ramhlwe Mphahlele, Mario Booysen and Joseph Molangoane.

‘George has a hamstring muscle strain. He will be out for one week.
‘Philani fractured a bone in his face. He had to have minor surgery and we are awaiting the report to inform us the extent of the injury.

Milner also shed light on Chiefs’ long-term injury victim, Molangoane, who sustained a broken leg at the start of the season in a MTN8 clash against Free State Stars.
‘We hope to have him back in the next four to six weeks,’ he continued.
‘Mario Booysen was another concern from the Elgeco match, but he has been cleared to fully train from Wednesday,’ he concluded.
