Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of their head coach Molefi Ntseki following a string of poor results.

Molefi Ntseki’s time as Head Coach of Kaizer Chiefs has ended peacefully, as agreed upon at a meeting on Monday morning.

The parties agreed that this was the best thing to do given the current situation because of the string of disappointing results.

Chiefs just hired Cavin Johnson as Head of the Youth Development Academy. He will be the temporary coach of the First Team. Dillon Sheppard, who is currently an assistant coach, will keep his job under Johnson.

Arthur Zwane, who was an assistant coach, will go back to his old job in the Club’s development systems.

This is Coach Ntseki at Chiefs in June 2021. He is in charge of technical and youth development.

In June 2023, he became the head coach of the senior team.

The coach who was leaving thanked the Chairman, Dr. Kaizer Motaung, and the Board of Directors for giving him the chance to coach Amakhosi. He also wished the team the best of luck for the rest of the season.

“I would like to thank Coach Ntseki for his contribution to the Club since he arrived here, both at development level and with the senior team. We wish him success in his future endeavours,” said Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr.
