Cape Town City have confirmed that midfield prodigy Luphumlo Sifumba has secured a loan move to Portuguese second-division club FC Vizela.
The 19-year-old signed for the Portuguese outfit on a initial loan deal with the option to buy at the end of his loan spell.
“Kaka” is one of the brightest talents to have come out of the Cape Town City Diski team following his performance for the team, he was named as the DStv Diski Challenge Player of the Season award in 2022/23 season.
Following his performance for City’s Diski team, Sifumba was drafted into the first team setup, where he made 12 appearances in all competitions last season.
Sifumba recently went on trail at Armenian first-division club FC Van before going on trial with Vizela, where he did enough to earn himself a move to the club after impressing during a friendly match.
