Orlando Pirates were forced to settle for a point after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Stellenbosch FC in their DStv Premiership clash at Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.
The Buccaneers opened the scoring on the stroke of half time through Nkosinathi Sibisi but Stellies managed to find an equalising goal early in the second half courtesy of Junior Mendieta as both sides shared the spoils.
The stalemate sees Stellenbosch drop down to 10th place in the league standings with two points from two games, while Pirates are placed fourth on the table with four points after two matches.

Lifa Hlongwane scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute when he latched on to a loose ball to slot the ball into the net and earn his side all three points away from home.
The defeat leaves the Brazilians in eighth place in the league standings with three points from two games, the Rockets moved up to sixth place on the log with four points after two matches.

AmaZulu fought from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over SuperSport United in their second DStv Premiership clash at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Matsatsantsa broke the deadlock in the 56th minute through youngster Thapelo Maseko before Gabadinho Mhango levelled matters 10 minutes later but a late goal from Bonginkosi Ntuli ensured Usuthu walk away with all three points on home soil.
The win saw AmaZulu move up to third place on the table with four points from two games, while SuperSport dropped down to 12th place on the log with only one point from their first two matches.
Chippa United 0-3 Royal AM
Royal AM continued their perfect start to the campaign after securing their second consecutive victory after they claimed a comfortable 3-1 victory over Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
A brace from Andre de Jong and a goal by Ruzaigh Gamildien cancelled out Diego Appollis’ 75th minute goal as Royal earned themselves three points away from home.

Sekhukhune United managed to secure their first win in the DStv Premiership after they secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Golden Arrow at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
A solitary goal from Tashreeq Morris deep into stoppage time in the first half was enough for Sekhukhune to earn their first win and maximum points on home soil.
The victory sees Sekhukhune move up to fifth place in the league standings with four points after two games, while Arrows remain at the foot of the table with zero points after two matches played this season.
