Veteran midfielder Andile Jali has warned teams to be wary of the new “Chippa United” ahead of the new season.
The 34-year-old was a free agent for six months after parting ways with Moroka Swallows in December 2023.
The Matatiele-born midfielder joins the club on a free transfer but the details of his contract are yet to be revealed.
Jali insists that people can expect a new Chilli Boys side when the new season approaches.
“No, you see the signings that have been made here, it means the coaches that are working here, coach Thabo [September] and coach [Kwanele] Kopo, know that they have worked a lot with the youth,” Jali told SuperSport.
“And the youth will gain even more because they [coaches] have worked for a very long time with the youth as coaches.
“Now, I come with my experience and I will teach them a bit of what I have gained.
“The supporters will have to know that the Chippa United of before, is not the same Chippa.
“Chippa United is now serious and the supporters will also see that and the way we will be playing that things have changed.
“It’s not that Chippa where people used to say, it’s doing ‘this or that’,” Jali added.
