Kaizer Chiefs have been dealt a major injury blow with coach Ernst Middendorp confirming that goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune will miss the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign due to injury.
The Soweto giants marked their first encounter in 2019 with a 2-1 loss to fellow rivals Mamelodi Sundowns at a packed FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Khune missed Chiefs’ first-leg Caf Confederation Cup clash against Elgeco Plus, as well as the 1-0 victory against SuperSport United in the Absa Premiership.
