Mamelodi Sundowns have beaten Kaizer Chiefs to the signature of sought-after Ajax Cape Town defender Mosa Lebusa, according to Urban Warriors coach Muhsin Ertugral.
Masandawana have completed their fifth bit of business during the transfer market ahead of the 2018-19 PSL campaign, following the signings of Andile Jali, Toni Silva, Jose Ali Meza, Lyle Lakay and Tristan Moses.

The defending PSL champions, however, secured the defender’s signature from the now National First Division side, with Lebusa poised to play as a centre back in Pitso Mosimane’s side.
‘Lebusa has done well for us. He is leaving the club,’ Ertugral told IOL.
‘He is joining Sundowns and I think he will do well there,’ he concluded.

Depending on exactly which position he plays in, Lebusa will compete with the likes of Tebogo Langerman, Siyabonga Zulu and Lyle Lakay for a starting berth at left back, while competing with the likes of Ricardo Nascimento, Wayne Arendse and Bangaly Soumahoro for a centre-back spot.
Sundowns begin the defence of their PSL title with a mouth-watering clash against Chiefs at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on 4 August with kick-off set for 3pm.
