The Premier Soccer League have confirmed that the semi-final draw for the MTN8 is scheduled to take place on Sunday.

The semi-final draw is scheduled to take place after the quarter final clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City which takes place at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.

In the other quarter-final clash, Cape Town City will travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium when they take on Sekhukhune United on Saturday.

Defending champions have already booked their place in the last four following their 3-1 victory over SuperSport United on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC secured their passage to the semi-finals after they defeated TS Galaxy 3-1 at the Danie Craven Stadium on Sunday.

The PSL released the following statement on the matter:

The MTN8 semi-final draw will take place this Sunday afternoon, right after the MTN8 quarter-final clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The draw will be LIVE on SuperSport PSL channel (202) and SABC 1.

Draw Procedure :

– One bowl will be used for the draw – containing four balls (with the names of each semi-finalist).
– The first ball out will be the home team in the first fixture.
– The second ball will be the away team in the first fixture.
– The third ball out will be the home team in the second fixture.
– The fourth ball will be the away team in the second fixture.
– Both semi-final ties will consist of two (2) legs played on a home and away basis.
