Cape Town City have announced that midfielder Thabo Nodada has committed his future to the club after signing a new contract at the club.
The 28-year-old has been at the Citizens since the club’s formation in 2016.
Nodada has since gone on to make 224 appearances across all competitions while scoring 18 goals and assisting a further 16 in the process.
The KwaZulu-Natal-born midfielder has also helped City lift the Telkom Knockout Cup in 2016 and the MTN8 title in 2018 while finishing as runners-up in 2017 and 2021.
“We are delighted to announce that Thabo Nodada has signed a three-year contract extension with the Citizens,” City announced on social media.
Meanwhile, head coach Eric Tinkler said: “Thabo’s contribution to the club has been exceptional.
“Always hardworking and highly motivated. He consistently goes above and beyond for the team.”
