Orlando Pirates have confirmed the return of seven key players ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against CR Belouizdad on Tuesday evening.

The Buccaneers are scheduled to face the Algerian outfit in their opening group stage encounter at the Stade 5 Juillet 1962 in Algiers.

Pirates have since revealed that Tapelo Xoki, Sandile Mthethwa, Deano Van Rooyen, Makhehlene Makhaula, Thabiso Lebitso, Thuso Moleleki and Ethan Visagie have returned to full training.

The Sea Robbers also confirmed that three players, including Goodman Mosele, Zakhele Lepasa and Olisa Ndah remain on the sidelines as they undergo rehabilitation.

The Soweto giants against CR Belouizdad is set to kick-off at 9pm.

As Orlando Pirates prepare to kick off their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League campaign against CR Belouizdad on Tuesday evening, the Buccaneers are also focusing on ensuring their squad is fully fit for the demanding schedule ahead.

Jose Riveiro and his technical team will need every player available during this intense period, as the clash against the Algerian giants marks the first of a demanding 21 days. It’s a challenging schedule by any standard, but there is some encouraging news from the Bucs’ medical department.

Updates on the squad’s fitness could provide a crucial boost as the team navigates this testing phase of the season.
