Nedbank Cup champions Orlando Pirates dominate the Nedbank Cup Team of the Season.

The Buccaneers successfully defended their Nedbank Cup title following their 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in the final at the mbombela Stadium this past weekend.

Themba Zwane opened the scoring for Sundowns in the 54th minute but a 71st minute penalty by Patrick Maswanganyi and a stoppage time goal from Relebohile Mofokeng handed Pirates the win.

Pirates have six players included in the Team of the Season, namely, Sipho Chaine, Thapelo Xoki, Thabiso Sesane, Patrick Maswanganyi, Tshegofatso Mabasa and Mofokeng.

Stellies, meanwhile has three players in the squad, including Fawaaz Basadien, Devin Titus and Iqraam Rayners, while Mamelodi Sundowns duo Khuliso Mudau and Marcelo Allende makes up the rest of the squad.
