Orlando Pirates moved to the top of the Betway Premiership standings following their 2-0 victory over SuperSport United at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The Buccaneers opened the scoring as early as the second minute through Evidence Makgopa before Deon Hotto put the game beyond SuperSport with a stoppage-time winner.

As a result, Pirates find themselves at the summit of the league standings with 12 points from their first four matches.

SuperSport, meanwhile, remain in 13th place on the table with four points from their opening five matches in the league.

The Soweto giants will look to makes it fives wins from five matches when they welcome AmaZulu to the Orlando Stadium on Friday evening.

Matsatsantsa will look to bounce back and return to winning ways when they take on Kaizer Chiefs at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday evening.
