Al Wahda FC have confirmed that South African coach Pitso Mosimane has joined the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Pro League outfit as their new head coach.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach wasted now time in finding a new home after recently parting ways with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
Mosimane now joins the UAE club after guiding Al Ahli to the Saudi First Division League title.
In doing so, Al Ahli gained automatic promotion to the Saudi Professional League with four games remaining in the season.
However, Mosimane has since found a new home and will be joined by his trusted staff Kabelo Rangoaga, Musi Matlaba, Kyle Solomon and Maahier Davids.
“Al Wahda Football Club Company announces the completion of contracting procedures with Mr Pitso Mosimane in order to technically lead the first team.
“The club’s board of directors welcomed Mosimane to the home of the champions, wishing him success in meeting the aspirations of the club’s leadership and management and its fans,” read a statement from the club late last night.
