Holders Real Madrid are set to play Chelsea while Manchester City were pitted against Bayern Munich in Friday’s Champions League quarter-finals draw.

In an all-Italian matchup, Serie A leaders Napoli face AC Milan, while Inter Milan face Portuguese league leaders Benfica.

The winner of Real’s match against Chelsea will face either City or Bayern in the semifinals, leaving the door open for an all-English final-four match.

This also increases the likelihood of an Italian team reaching the final for the first time since Juventus in 2017, as Inter will face either Milan or Napoli in the quarterfinals if they defeat Benfica.

The first legs of the quarterfinals will be played on April 11 and 12, with Real hosting Chelsea at the Santiago Bernabeu before traveling to London a week later, and City hosting Bayern at home.

Inter was originally scheduled to play Benfica at home, but will now travel to Lisbon for the first leg to avoid a potential conflict with AC Milan’s match against Napoli at San Siro.

The semi-finals will be played in May, with the championship scheduled for June 10 in Istanbul.
