AmaZulu returned to winning ways after they secured a 2-0 victory over Marumo Gallants through goals from Rowan Human and Wayde Jooste at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The win takes Usuthu up to sixth place on the log with 23 from 17 matches after claiming seven wins, two draws and eight defeats.
Gallants remain in 13th position on the table with 15 points from 16 games, having won four matches, drawn four and suffered nine defeats.
