One of the brightest young stars in South African sport, Emile Witbooi, has officially joined global agency Roc Nation Sports International as he takes another big step in his career.

Witbooi has quickly risen through the local football ranks in recent seasons, with the 16-year-old’s natural talent, work ethic and playmaking ability having captured the attention of scouts and fans alike.

Towards the end of last year, the talented teenager spent time in England after attracting interest from English Premier League teams, including a one-month evaluation with Chelsea’s youth team before returning to Cape Town City.

The decision to join Roc Nation Sports International marks another significant step in the burgeoning career of the young athlete, placing him alongside a roster of world-class athletes such as Kevin De Bruyne and Vini Jr, who are represented by RNSI.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Emile to the Roc Nation Sports International family,” said Nathan Campbell, RNSI’s Global Director of Football, who recently spent time in South Africa.

“He is an exceptional young player with immense potential, and his standout performances at various levels of the game have understandably already earned him widespread recognition. We are committed to supporting him in achieving his goals and helping him reach the highest levels of the game.”

This partnership with Roc Nation Sports International provides Witbooi with access to a global network of 360-degree services, both on and off the field.

The signing of Witbooi also underscores RNSI’s growing presence in South Africa’s football landscape and its dedication to identifying and developing top talent from around the world.

The agency – which also boasts a consulting partnership with Mamelodi Sundowns – has a proven track record of success in managing the careers of elite athletes, and this partnership with Witbooi signals their commitment to investing in the future of South African football.
