Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronwen Williams shined at the CAF Awards 2024 after walking away with two awards at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Williams was the only one to secure two awards on the night after claiming the Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year and Men’s Interclub Player of the Year awards.

The shot-stoppaer received the awards after his heroics at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 to help South Africa secure the bronze medal.

The 32-year-old played a crucial role in helping Mamelodi Sundowns secure their seventh successive league title while keeping a joint record of 11 clean sheets.
