Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has named Siphiwe Tshabalala in his 26-man squad for their crucial Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Senegal.

The first game between the two sides takes place at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on 10 November, while the second is scheduled for 14 November when Bafana Bafana travel to Dakar to take on the Lions of Teranga.

Baxter kept the bulk of the squad that defeated Burkina Faso 3-1 in a Fifa World Cup qualifier at FNB Stadium on 7 October 2017.

The Scottish coach welcomes back captain Thulani Hlatshwayo, who was sidelined through injury, while Erick Mathoho and Dean Furman also return to the squad from their respective suspensions.

Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala makes his long-awaited return to the national team after being absent from the squad for three years.

Despite Bongani Zungu and Andile Jali’s suspensions, the pair have been called up to the squad and will be available for the away leg.

Bafana Bafana currently occupy last place in Group D table with four points, trailing leaders Senegal by four points heading into the two remaining matches.
