Stellenbosch FC progressed to the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals after claiming a 2-0 victory over Polokwane City at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.

The home side opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Bulelani Nikani scored an own goal before Devin Titus netted the winning goal in the 37th minute to hand his side the victory.

Stellies will now advance to the quarter-finals while Rise and Shine’s journey in the competition has come to an end.
