Mamelodi Sundowns booked their place in the CAF Champions League final after playing out to a dramatic 1-1 draw against Al Ahly SC at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday evening.

The Egyptian giants opened the scoring in the 24th minute thanks to a goal from Taher Mohamed.

The Brazilians managed to pull a goal back in stoppage time through an own goal by Yasser Ibrahim.

Miguel Cardoso’s side have now booked their place in the final, where they will face Egyptian outfit Pyramids FC.
