Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly are set to renew their rivalry after they were drawn in Group B for the Caf Champions League group stages.
The Brazilians and the Red Devils have been drawn in Group B alongside the likes of Coton Sport of Cameroon and Sudan’s Al Hilal following the conclusion of the draw in Cairo on Monday afternoon.
This will be the second consecutive year that Sundowns and Ahly will meet in the group stages.
Last year, they were drawn in Group A where the Brazilians managed to finish top of the group unbeaten, while Ahly finished second in the group.
The Egyptian giants will be out for revenge on the South African side, who defeated them in the home and away legs during the group stages.
