Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of Argentine defender Lucas Suárez on loan from CA Talleres.
The 29-year-old joins the club on loan from Club Atlético Talleres in the Argentine Premier Division.
The Argentine will now compete with the likes of Mosa Lebusa, Mothobi Mvala, Grant Kekana, Malibongwe Khoza, Rivaldo Coetzee, Khuliso Mudau and Keanu Cupido for a place in the backline.
Suarez becomes the latest signing during the January transfer window behind Stellenbosch FC midfielder Jayden Adams and Cape Town City FC defender Keanu Cupido.
“Argentine centre-back, Lucas Suárez, is the newest addition to the Yellow Nation on loan to the end of the season,” Sundowns said in a statement.
