Al Ahly have confirmed that Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau is excepted to be out of action for up to a month due to injury.
The Egyptian giants’ team doctor Ahmed Abu Abla has since revealed that the South African underwent an x-ray and it has now been confirmed that he suffered an injury to his quadriceps.
Tau picked up the injury on Friday during the team’s training preparations ahead of their encounter against Pyramids FC on Sunday.
The 28-year-old will now miss the quarter-final fixture in the Egyptian Cup after it was confirmed that he’d be out for up to a month.
