Wydad Casablanca have announced the signing of attacker Thembinkosi Lorch on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 31-year-old arrives at the Moroccan outfit on a loan deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.

During his time with the Brazilians, Lorch has scored seven goals and registered four assists in 27 appearances across all competitions.

The Bloemfontein-born attacker will now reunite with Rhulani Mokwena, who is currently the head coach of the Moroccan side

Lorch brings a wealth of experiences, having previously played for Maluti FET, Orlando Pirates, All Stars, Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Over the course of his career, Lorch has netted 44 goals and grabbed 37 assists in 222 appearances in all competitions.

Lorch now becomes the eighth player to join the club behind Selemani Mwalimu, El Mehdi Benabid, Mohammed El Jadidi, Zakaria Fatihi, Fahd Moufi, Samuel Obeng and Mickaël Malsa.
