Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler remains unsure about the availability of in-form striker Khanyisa Mayo for their DStv Premiership clash against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday afternoon.
The Citizens are set to play host to Amakhosi when the two sides meet at Athlone Stadium this coming weekend.
City currently occupy fifth place in the DStv Premiership standings with 31 points from 20 games, while Amakhosi are placed seventh with 29 points from 20 matches.
Tinkler, whose side are on a four-match winless run in the league, could potentially be without their top goalscorer when they renew their rivalry with Amakhosi.
“That trip to Algeria is tough,” Tinkler told the media in Cape Town.
“Two hours from where he is to the airport. Six hours a flight to Dubai, a four-hour layover in Dubai. Eight-hour flight to Johannesburg, two-hour layover in Johannesburg.
‘Another two hours flight [to Cape Town] and I have him the day before the game. So it begs the question, is he going to be ready or not.”
