Mamelodi Sundowns will play host to Bloemfontein Celtic while, Kaizer Chiefs welcome Black Leopards in the first round of the Telkom Knockout.

The draw for the knockout competition took place at the SuperSport Studios on Monday evening.

The teams who finished inside the top eight in the Absa Premiership, which includes the likes of Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs have all been seeded.

This means that the top teams cannot be pitted against each other in the first round of the competition.

The defending champions Bidvest Wits will travel to Goble Park when they take on Free State Stars.

The Brazilians will play hosts to last years finalist Celtic, while Kaizer Chiefs square off against Black Leopards.

Meanwhile, other fixtures sees Orlando Pirates take on Chippa United, Cape Town City travel to AmaZulu while SuperSport United are away to Polokwane City.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirmed thay the competition is scheduled for the weekend of the 20/21 October.
