Bafana Bafana now know who their opponents are for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) group-stage qualifiers following the conclusion of the draw in Randburg, Johannesburg on Tuesday evening.
The South African national team were drawn in Group K alongside Morocco, Zimbabwe and Liberia for the Afcon qualifiers taking place in Ivory Coast in May and June next year.
The group-stage qualifying draw was held in South Africa on Tuesday, conducted by Confederation of African Football (Caf) director of competitions Samson Adamu, while other participants included Bafana Bafana great Lucas Radebe and former Cote d’Ivoire international Salomon Kalou.
There will be 32 nations looking to qualify for the African showpiece, which is scheduled to take place in Ivory Coast next year.
