World Cup winning Springbok Cheslin Kolbe has sent a special message to Mamelodi Sundowns from Japan, wishing the leading local football club all the best for the rest of the season.
Sundowns have firmly established themselves as the leading force on the South African football scene, and once again look assured of securing yet another DStv Premiership title in the 2023-24 campaign.
The Pretoria-based club have clearly won over another supporter in rugby star Kolbe, who is one of the most popular Springbok players, having played a key role in back-to-back World Cup triumphs as well as a British & Irish Lions series victory in 2021.
The Brazilians will be in action on Wednesday when they travel to the Mbombela Stadium to face TS Galaxy in their next DStv Premiership encounter hoping to extend their unbeaten run in the league to 41 matches.
Sundowns currently sit at the summit of the league table with 42 points from 16 games, while the Rockets occupy seventh place with 24 points after 17 matches.
Kick-off at the Mbombela Stadium kicks off at 19:30 on Wednesday evening.
