Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has called up Vincent Pule, Aubrey Modiba and Tiyani Mabunda to the national squad to replace the injured group of Themba Zwane, Lebo Mothiba, Bongani Zungu and Hlompho Kekana.
Zwane, Mothiba and Zungu have all been forced to pull out of Bafana’s squad for Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier against Libya due to injury, while Kekana will also sit out through injury.

‘We got to touch on the injured players,’ said coach Baxter at the press conference in Durban.
‘I got a text from the club [Amiens SC], saying that Bongani Zungu has twisted his knee and may have ligament damage.’

Baxter continued: ‘I am waiting for a report from France regarding Mothiba who has a hamstring tear. That takes 17 days to recover.’

Baxter’s men currently sits second in Group E after a 2-0 victory over West African giants Nigeria and only trail leaders Libya on goal difference, after their 5-1 victory over the Seychelles.
With SuperSport United pair, Dean Furman and Bradley Grobler also nursing injuries, it has not been the best of starts to Baxter’s latest national camp.
South Africa will do battle against Libya the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, with kick off at 3pm.
