Bafana Bafana midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi is the latest player to pull out of the squad ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Seychelles after rupturing his left Achilles tendon.
Bafana will face the Islanders in back-to-back 2019 Afcon qualifiers, with the first game taking place on Saturday at the FNB Stadium before Stuart Baxter and his team travel to face the same opposition on Tuesday.
The Mamelodi Sundowns man suffered the injury during a practice match for Bafana against SuperSport United at Megawatt Park in Sunninghill on Wednesday.

Bafana may have won the game 1-0, courtesy of a first-half strike from Lebo Mothiba, but the match was overshadowed by Vilakazi’s injury.
The forward went down in what was described as a seemingly innocuous challenge; however, his reaction indicated it was serious and upon inspection, the suspicions were confirmed.
Vilakazi joins Sundowns teammate Thapelo Morena and Orlando Pirates wing Vincent Pule on the Bafana injury list, and while Baxter has called up Cape Town City skipper Thamsanqa Mkhize and Buccaneers attacker Thembinkosi Lorch as replacements, it is still unclear if the coach will call up a replacement for Vilakazi.
