Watch as Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter and captain Thulani Hlatswayo speak to the media upon the side’s arrival at the first training session of their African Cup of Nations preparations.
The South African national team began their preparations for Afcon 2019 on Monday morning after the players, who form the 30-man preliminary squad, assembled on Sunday evening in Johannesburg.

Baxter will have to trim his squad down to 23 for the tournament in Egypt later this month, and will be using the camp to assess the players.
Bafana will train throughout the week at Steyn City School before departing to Dubai for the second part of their camp, and then finally fly to Egypt for the tournament.
