Cape Town City has bid farewell to defender Keanu Cupido following his move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 27-year-old joined City from French outfit AC Ajaccio B back in July 2018.
Cupido went on to spend seven seasons at the club, in which he made 143 appearances while scoring one goal and grabbing three assists in all competitions.
The Bafana Bafana international only won the MTN8 title back in 2018 when they defeated SuperSport United to secure the trophy.
The Citizens have since released a statement bidding farewell to the Soweto-born defender.
“Keanu Cupido has completed a permanent move to Mamelodi Sundowns,” City announced on X.
“After seven memorable seasons, everyone at the club wishes Keanu all the best in his next chapter.”
