AmaZulu midfielder Ben Motshwari is confident that his side will come back stronger when they take on Chippa United in the Betway Premiership.

Usuthu will look to bounce back and return to winning ways following their 2-1 defeat to TS Galaxy at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Friday, 14 March.

The Durban-based outfit will now turn their attention to their next fixture against the Chilli Boys at the Buffalo City Stadium on March 29.

AmaZulu come into this fixture sitting in seventh place on the league standings with 30 points from 23 matches.

Motshwari insists the FIFA international came at the right time as it gave them time to regroup and reset to prepare for the resumption of the Betway Premiership.

“It was crucial to use this FIFA break to sharpen our approach in the final third,” Motshwari told his club’s official website.

“We’re one of the best teams in terms of final third entries, but now it’s about converting those chances into goals.

“This week has been about fine-tuning our finishing and making the most of the chances we create. There’s always room for improvement, but I’m confident we’ll come back stronger against Chippa United.

“The morale in the squad is high. We’ve only lost two games back-to-back, and it’s not a crisis. Our targets are still within reach—we just need to stay focused and execute our game plan.”
