Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi is not resting on his laurels after his side returned to winning ways in the Betway Premiership.

The Glamour Boys ended their three game winless run across all competition after claiming a 2-1 victory over Richards Bay at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Wandile Duba opened the scoring for Amakhosi in the 21st minute before Ashley Du Preez’s 68th minute goal handed the home side maximum points, despite Richards Bay scoring a late goal through Yamela Mbuthuma.

The win sees Chiefs move up to sixth place on the table with 10 points after six games, while Richards Bay are placed 14th with five points after eight matches.

“The process is not one match, it’s not because we win and the process is good, no, no. This is Kaizer Chiefs. The objective or the level of Kaizer Chiefs is high,” Nabi told SuperSport TV after the game.

“Mentally it’s good, some moments of the game was good but without consistency and efficiency in third zone, we need more work.

“The three points is very good for the club. Mentally it’s not easy, you play the second-half with ten [men] but for the process…This is Kaizer Chiefs.

“Remember Kaizer Chiefs before with [Siphiwe] Tshabalala, Doctor Khumalo, this is high level. Not like today.”
