Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi believes his side needs to strengthen their team following their draw against TS Galaxy.
The Glamour Boys were forced to settle for a point after playing out to a 1-1 draw against the Rockets at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
The Rockets opened the scoring in the 35th minute through Samukelo Kabini but an injury time goal by Ranga Chivaviro saw Amakhosi walk away with a point.
The draw sees Galaxy move up to 11th place on the table with 10 points from 10 games, while Chiefs dropped to ninth place on the log with 12 points from nine matches.
“We feel that we didn’t start well, the first 15, 20 minutes we were losing every ball, easy passes were lost, all the duels were won by the opponent, which was difficult for us,” Nabi told SuperSport TV after the game.
“We tried to adjust the team tactically after 25 minutes, then we came back really good and we conceded from a set-piece, where we feel like we were starting to come back into the game really well, with more control, commitment.
“In the second half we tried to push forward, again we’re missing opportunities to score, at the end we tried everything to put more power, more risk forward and fortunately we got the point.
“But we feel that we’re very far from the level of Kaizer Chiefs, we need to work hard, we need to strengthen the team but we’re gonna do everything we can for the future games.”
