Richards Bay returned to winning ways in the Betway Premiership after claiming a victory over Kaizer Chiefs at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday.

Fezile Gcaba opened the scoring for the home side in the 48th minute before Yamela Mbuthuma put the game beyond Chiefs with a 72nd minute goal as Richards Bay secured a 2-0 win in Durban.

The win sees Natal Rich Boys climb up to the 11th spot in the league standings with 24 points from 22 matches.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi remain in eighth position on the table with 29 points after 22 matches.
