Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro praised Mohau Nkota, stating it’s just the beginning for the young winger.

The 19-year-old started against SuperSport and lasted 67 minutes before he was taken off and subsequently replaced by captain Innocent Maela.

The Kimberley-born winger has already featured three times across all competitions this campaign and has played a total of 125 minutes.

Riveiro believes Nkota has enough to work on and hone his craft following his performance against the Tshwane giants.

“It’s just the beginning for him [Mohau Nkota].” Riveiro told SuperSport TV after the game.

“He needs to understand that this is just one game. He needs to improve a lot of things still.

“I think he played 65 minutes with his own personality, that’s what matters for me. He needs to work hard because in professional football nothing comes for free.”
