Cape Town City have announced that academy graduate Shakeel April has signed a new long-term with the club.

The winger came through the ranks of the clubs academy and made his debut for the senior team last season.

18-year-old was limited to game time last campaign but managed to feature five times across all competition,

April has now impressed Eric Tinkler enough to earn a new long-term deal with the club as they prepare for their upcoming encounter against Stellenbosch FC on Wednesday, September 25.

“We are delighted to announce academy graduate, Shakeel April has signed a new long-term deal with us,” City announced.
