Stellenbosch FC claimed the bragging rights in the Cape derby after cruising to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cape Town City at Athlone Stadium.

The Maroons walked away with all three points and the win thanks to goals from Andre De Jong, Fawaaz Basadien and Sanele Barns.
